Privacy Policy

Two different places, two different policies

Browsing, the quiz, and product pages happen on flowbotanicals.com — this policy covers those. Checkout and payment happen on our Shopify store at shop.flowbotanicals.com. Shopify collects your name, shipping address, and payment details there under its own policy: Shopify store privacy policy. We never see or store your full payment card details.

What we collect on this site

If you take the quiz: we store your answers, the formula we recommended, and a random anonymous ID. That ID is a random value generated in your browser and kept in your browser's local storage — it is not your name or email, and we do not link it to your identity. We do not ask for your email to show your quiz result.

If you email us: we get whatever you send — typically your email address and your message.

Automatically, via the tools below: standard web data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring links.

Third-party tools on this site

• Supabase — our database. Stores quiz answers, recommendations, and the anonymous ID described above.
• Klaviyo — email marketing. Loads on our pages and, if you give us your email, stores it to send you email you've asked for.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel — measures ads and site activity. Shares site activity and identifiers with Meta.
• TikTok pixel — measures ads and site activity. Shares site activity and identifiers with TikTok.
• Vercel — hosts this site and processes requests.
• Shopify — powers the catalog and checkout.
• Supliful — our fulfilment partner. Receives the name and shipping address needed to ship your order.

The Meta and TikTok pixels are advertising tools. Under some state privacy laws — California's included — sharing information with advertising platforms this way can count as "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out below.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information for money.
• We don't ask for or store health conditions or medical information. The quiz asks about preferences and goals, not diagnoses, and its result is a product suggestion — not medical advice.
• We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. These products are for adults.

Your choices

• Opt out of ad tracking: use your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker, or adjust your ad settings on Meta and TikTok. Blocking these does not affect your ability to browse or buy.
• Clear your quiz ID: clearing your browser's local storage for this site removes the anonymous ID. A new one is created if you take the quiz again.
• Unsubscribe from email: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
• Access or delete your data: email us at info@flowbotanicals.com and we'll action it. Depending on where you live — including California, and the EU/UK — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We honour these requests regardless of where you live, and we won't treat you differently for making one.

How long we keep it

Quiz responses are kept while they're useful for improving our recommendations. Order information is kept by Shopify as long as needed for the order, support, and tax and accounting requirements. Email you give us is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Changes

If we change what we collect or which tools we use, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
